Webinar: Does mediation present a golden opportunity for lawyers?

Join us for a lively discussion where Andrew Miller QC and Rebecca Attree of IPOS Mediation will seek to answer the question as to whether mediation does provide lawyers with a ‘golden opportunity’. In doing so they will consider the positives in respect of a lawyer’s ongoing relationship with their client when they engage in mediation and at the same time Andrew and Rebecca will consider the pitfalls for solicitors and barristers representing their clients at mediation.

Now both full time mediators, Andrew as a barrister and Rebecca as a solicitor also have experience over many years of attending mediations as party representatives. This webinar will cover all aspects of a solicitor’s and barrister’s role at mediation, from choosing the mediator, topreparing your client for mediation and advising during the course of the mediation day.

The session will be moderated by Henrietta Jackson-Stops, mediator and Partner of IPOS Mediation,who is also a solicitor (non-practising). Following the 45 minute webinar there will be a separate link to a Zoom meeting room hosted byIPOS Mediation where participants can network for 15 minutes. Use of cameras and microphones encouraged!
