Dear All,
I wanted to let you know how we can help you resolve your disputes during this time of 'social distancing' and non-essential travel.
We’re entirely flexible on the form that the mediation takes - it’s up to the parties and the mediator. Some of our mediators are willing to attend in person for now, others would prefer to mediate online or by telephone. We can also provide alternatives venues, outside urban centres.
For those wishing to mediate remotely, we offer video conferencing using Zoom - user-friendly software accessible from multiple devices and locations. Our mediators are trained in using Zoom. We have also produced a IPOS Client Guide to Remote Mediation which gives an introduction to mediating remotely and some tips on preparation for online mediation and using Zoom.
However, if you or your clients are not comfortable with using Zoom (and I hope that our Guide will help ease those concerns), we are also happy to mediate via phone, Skype or Facetime or a mix of methods!
We want to help you and your clients continue to move forwards, so please do contact us to discuss your particular case further. We are here to help.
Best wishes,
Henrietta Jackson-Stops
