We are delighted to turn the spotlight this month to Henrietta Jackson-Stops.
Formerly a litigator at Allen & Overy and subsequently, a lawyer for the Government Legal Department, Henrietta has a wide degree of experience in public international law, international and investor-state arbitration, public law and all general commercial matters including commercial contracts, construction & property, partnership disputes and much more.
As a partner in a family business, Henrietta has a particular understanding of how and why disputes might arise in situations where family and business relationships become intertwined and so takes particular pleasure in helping parties move forwards from conflict.
Henrietta is a Director of the Civil Mediation Council, responsible for conversations with the Ministry of Justice about how to integrate mediation into the justice system. She is currently Co-Chair of the organising committee for London International Disputes Week 2024. She became a full time mediator in 2016 as well as a Partner at IPOS Mediation in the same year.
“Focused, positive energy. Commercial savvy and vision. Ocean deep integrity. These vital and enduring qualities sit at the heart of all that Hetti brings to her role with IPOS Mediation.” – Denise O’Connor, Director of Practice Development at Dentons and former mediator at IPOS Mediation.
