Dr Karl Mackie, Chief Executive of CEDR, has been appointed CBE in the Birthday Honours list for services to mediation. Karl Mackie has for many years been a tireless evangelist for mediation and has played a considerable role in persuading the Government and the Judiciary to embed mediation in the legal system.
